thumbnail Uri Coronel (born 24 December 1946 in Amsterdam) is a Dutch sports director and former chairman of Ajax Amsterdam, a position he held at the club from April 2008 to 25 July 2011.〔(Nieuwe weg Ajax met kersverse RvC ), Ajax.nl, 25 July 2011〕 == Career == Uri Coronel was a board member for the Dutch association football club AFC Ajax from 1989 until 1997. He was the driving force behind the relocation of the club from its former home of De Meer Stadion to the now current home at the Amsterdam ArenA. In 2007 he was the head of the committee which investigated the functionality of the club. Chairman John Jakke and Managing director Maarten Fontein were scrutinized following the investigation, leading to their immediate resignation. Uri subsequently became the new Chairman of Ajax following the dismissal.〔(John Jaakke opzij voor Uri Coronel ), Het Parool, 18 April 2008〕 The function of Chairman of the club became an unpaid position. With the arrival of Uri Coronel, Ajax would once again have a Jewish Chairman.〔(Coronel nu voorzitter en supporter van Ajax ), Nu.nl, 17 april 2008〕 As a Chairman however, Mr. Coronel came under harsh criticism, as his direction for the club deviated to hard from his own initial report which was submitted by his investigative committee.〔(Evaluatie rapport Coronel ), Catenaccio, 20 April 2009〕 On March 30, 2011 the board of AFC Ajax, including Uri Coronel, announced their resignation, as a result of an impending deadlock, after tensions arose between the leadership of the club and club icon Johan Cruyff.〔(Bestuur en RvC: functie ter beschikking ), FCupdate.nl, 30 maart 2011〕 Outside of Ajax Uri Coronel was very successful in the field of insurance. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Uri Coronel」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
